Finding Your Ground
For adults navigating emotional overwhelm, overthinking, people-pleasing, and difficulty staying connected to their own needs.
You may have become very good at adapting, coping, reading the room, or meeting other people’s expectations.
From the outside, you may seem capable. Inside, you may feel overwhelmed, uncertain, disconnected from yourself, or unsure where your own needs fit.
Finding Your Ground offers space to slow down, notice familiar patterns, and begin developing a steadier relationship with yourself.
This space is designed for reflection, not performance.
This May Be For You If…
You often find yourself:
Overthinking or replaying conversations
Feeling responsible for how other people feel
Saying yes when you want to say no
Struggling to identify your own needs
Feeling guilty when you set boundaries
Being hard on yourself even when you are trying your best
Feeling emotionally tired, but unsure how to explain why

2. Foundational Closed Group
Coming Back to Yourself
A six-week counselling group for people who want to better understand emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, self-criticism, and patterns of losing themselves in relationships or expectations.
With the same members meeting each week, the group offers a consistent space to reflect, practice new ways of responding, and build greater awareness of your needs, boundaries, and inner experience.
Possible weekly themes:
How we learned to adapt
Overthinking, uncertainty, and emotional overwhelm
People-pleasing and the fear of disappointing others
Needs, boundaries, and self-trust
Self-criticism and developing a more compassionate inner relationship
Staying connected to yourself while remaining connected to others
Format: Six-week closed group
Group size: 4–6 participants
Length: 90 minutes weekly
Fee: $100 per session / $600 for the full cycle
Sliding scale: A limited number of spaces may be available
Pre-group assessment: A 50-minute individual assessment and preparation session is required before joining. Fee: $150.
This session provides an opportunity to discuss your goals, consider whether the group is an appropriate fit, prepare for participation, and address any questions or concerns before the group begins.
3. Deepening Group
Staying With Yourself
An eight-week, process-oriented counselling group for adults who want to explore how self-abandonment, approval-seeking, emotional protection, and relational patterns show up in their everyday lives and relationships.
Alongside reflecting on experiences outside the group, we may also gently notice what happens in the present moment between group members. This can offer opportunities to practice expressing needs, tolerating difference, receiving feedback, and staying connected to yourself while relating to others.
This group may explore:
How you respond when others seem disappointed, distant, or unavailable
Difficulty naming and expressing anger, preference, boundaries, or need
Seeking reassurance, approval, or permission from others
Shame or fear around taking up space
Emotional protection and patterns of withdrawing or over-adapting
Practicing more authentic and mutual connection within the group
Developing a steadier internal sense of self
Format: Eight-week closed process group
Group size: 4–6 participants
Length: 90 minutes weekly
Fee: $120 per session / $960 for the full cycle
Sliding scale: A limited number of spaces may be available
Pre-group assessment: A 50-minute individual assessment and preparation session is required before joining. Fee: $150.
This session allows us to discuss your goals, readiness for process-oriented group work, previous counselling or group experience, and whether the group is likely to offer an appropriate level of support at this time.
